Membership & Donation Information

Membership is open to any person who is of good moral character; committed to the mission of La Sierra Guild and Children's Hospital Central;
and willing to fulfill the obligations of membership (either Active or Associate). 


La Sierra Guild supports Children’s by providing financial support through fundraisers and by fostering community interest in the work of the hospital. 
Active Members meet monthly (except for Jan., July, & Aug.) on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 1:00 P.M., at the Oakhurst Lutheran Church
on Road 426 (1 ½ mile from Hwy. 41).  A social lunch at a local restaurant is scheduled the 4th Wednesday of each month.

Must attend a minimum of 5 (of the 9) monthly meetings
Not required to attend meetings, but are welcome to attend
Must participate in fund raising activities
Not required to participate in fund raising activities, but welcome to help
Promote interest in the work of Children's Hospital

The Membership Application and the first year's dues of $15.00 are to be submitted to the La Sierra Guild, Attention Membership,
P.O. Box 956

Active members must purchase a name Badge and must include the $12.00 cost of the name
Badge with the Membership Application.  Associate Members are not required to purchase a name Badge.  An Associate Member’s
Badge will be provided by the Membership Chairman when attending La Sierra Guild meetings and functions.   Each member must wear
their Badge at all La Sierra Guild meetings, functions, and when representing La Sierra Guild in public.

You are welcome to add a donation to your membership as well.   Donations from the community are always welcome.
