Hospital -- Learning from Butterflies
Three lucky La Sierra Guild members: Carol Besselievre, Linda Fisher,
and Jeanette Newton got to partake in the Earth Day, April 22nd,
Butterfly Release at Children's Hospital.

The photographer is to be commended for capturing the very essence
of this event. The writer of the ireport has tenses scrambled and
it is hardly intelligible...ugh.

An April 3rd Merced Sun-Star article is definitely worth the read.
It is entitled "Learning from Butterflies" Children get lessons
about the cycle of life. Hospital staff commented that this is
just one of the "on-going programs designed to educate children
and bring joy to them during their stay."

Mariposa Butterfly Festival Chairman, Dell Knell, would really like
to see the La Sierra Guild take an active role in this learning
experience for Children's Hospital in 2011.
