Hostesses, Barbara
Harrigan and Beverly Williams prepared “Happy Sweethearts
Day” treats with the itty-bitty,
adorably decorated cupcakes, and tiny skewered
heart shaped cheeses with grapes.
Some members distributed
additional Valentine goodies. Members in
attendance also received a Giraffe
cookie
cutter as a heartfelt symbol of our continued commitment to Children’s
Hospital.

Committee. Towards
the end of last year, all of the
Guilds were encouraged by Committee Lead
and Guild Manager, Teresa Fierro, to
brain storm fundraising ideas and submit them for review and possible
development.
One of La Sierra Guild’s
suggestions, the Shopping Bag,
gained enormous support and is in the process of being developed.
Roberta Lindman, our Committee
Representative, and Linda Mosley, were in attendance at the All Guilds
Fundraising Committee
meeting. Currently
the committee is evaluating material selection for the Shopping
Bag—which will
eventually advertise and
inform the public about the Abuse Prevention and
Fundraising Chairman for

Mayo, Carol Besselievre and the Fall Raffle Chairmen, Judy Hanson and
Joanne
Wagers are all
committed to another enormously successful La Sierra Guild fundraising
year. Each team is
organizing their
material’s list, looking for ways to cut costs, gathering volunteers,
and
planning-planning-planning. We will hear
more about our opportunities for involvement on these teams at the next
general
meeting on March 10th.
