Our first fundraising event of the year is
Kids Day: Tuesday, March 9th
For the past 23
years,
Children's Hospital has benefited from the thousands of volunteers that
hit the
streets every March
to sell the special "Kids Day" edition of the
Fresno Bee for $1. This
special newspaper is loaded with stories about the
children and their successful outcomes at Children's Hospital. By participating as a Kids
Day volunteer, you not only help
Children's Hospital raise important funds, but also help Valley
residents learn
more about the vital healthcare services and
programs Children's
Hospital
provides.
Kids
Day is a joint project between the Fresno
Bee, ABC 30, and Children's Hospital.
The
La Sierra Guild sale’s site is located at Highway 41 and Road 417 in
Coarsegold. Typically, our hours of
operation are
6:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. Kids
Day Chairman, Carol Besselievre, can answer any questions you may have. There will be a
sign-up sheet at the front
desk at our February meeting. Until
then, here are the Sales & Safety Instructions provided by
Children's
Hospital.
